Welcome To My Blog!

Hello! My name is Jeremy and I'm super excited to be starting my new blog! Now, I'm aware that there will more than likely not be very many people, if any, who will actually want to hear what I have to say. And if there are, I understand it will take a lot of time to grow my audience. However, I am willing to take that time. 

I first want to write a little bit about me. I am a young adult who greatly enjoys politics. Not only do I enjoy talking about politics, I enjoy being introduced to new ideas, even if they're ideas I don't necessarily agree with. In my opinion, the more you know about both sides of an argument, the smarter you are as a whole. To go with researching and learning new things about the political world around me, I enjoy debating with other people on pretty much any topic. However, debating is only enjoyable if both sides keep it clean and friendly. Therefore, clean and friendly debates will be the only ones I take part in. 

Aside from politics one of my biggest hobbies is reading. I can read pretty much any genre. Horror, action, adventure, historical, fiction and non-fiction alike. The written word is extremely important, and every literate human should embrace it. Books are one of the few things that last for centuries if properly cared for, and the wonderful stories of past and present should not be taken for granted.

Another one of my interests is the United States military. Talking / learning about the history of our great military, and keeping up to date on what's going on with it today is very fun in my mind. Coming from a family with many military ties, I like to think I know quite a bit about it. But feel free to challenge me on that! 

Again, I'm not expecting anyone to read my blog for probably the first few months or more.
